Inner Dialogue at 4am

Good morning 4am charley horse-

too much dancing to Metallica

or low potassium- take your pick!

But afterwards in the stillness

my Love popped in

for a morning conversation

(the most insecure extrovert I know)

asking why I was trying to

replace him.

Well duh silly!

You can never be replaced

and can come visit anytime-

just like you’re doing now!

He left satisfied

I was left reeling (and crying)

now wide awake…

charley horse gone.

Can ya think of a better way

to wake me up next time?
