fully human

born
grew up
learned a trade
ministered
but
this baby
this man
fully human
fully God
Son of God
had a higher purpose:
to make the ultimate sacrifice
die a gruesome death
for you
for me
and for everyone.
He took our sins
with him to the cross
because He loved us before we were born.
Not only did he die,
but also rose again!
Before He ascended to Heaven
to sit at the right of His Father God
He promised
to be
with us
always!
This is the true meaning of Christmas!
For without the cross and the resurrection, Christmas is meaningless…
