Today I am grateful for clouds.
“There is bound to be turbulence in the clouds of confusion before one can view the friendly skies, and an illuminated landing strip.”
― T.F. Hodge, From Within I Rise: Spiritual Triumph Over Death and Conscious Encounters with “The Divine Presence”
It is amazing what one can see in the clouds.
Today was a multitude of hearts.
Yesterday was all kinds of things,
different every time I looked.
Then I flipped the photo upside-down
and holy cow,
a new image appeared.
I posted the pics on FaceBook with the request
“Riddle me this: What do you see?”
I received many responses,
as varied as the people who answered.
It was really quite fun!
“I’ve looked at life from both sides now
From win and lose and still somehow
It’s life’s illusions I recall
I really don’t know life
At all.”
— Joni Mitchell
While I am grateful for the beauty of clouds
and the messages in the clouds,
I am more grateful for the interaction
of friends.
Old friends, new friends,
Friends who entertain,
friends who care,
friends who check up,
friends who are mere acquaintances,
and friends who love me.
Thank you to all my friends.
I love each of you!
XO Lisa
That whole Joni Mitchell album is amazing.
