Rona Musings Choose Joy

I am where I need to be

in this moment

in my life

at this time

in this space.

People come

into my life

all at the right time —

for a reason,

for a season,

or for a lesson to be learned.

People also leave —

but they were there

at the right time

for a reason,

for a season,

and to teach a lesson.

In the meantime,

I will choose joy

on the good days,

during the in-between days,

and especially during

the agonizing days.

I will try

to pass that joy

to anyone who needs it

while taking good care

of myself,

my heart,

and my soul.
