Allergies aside, I agree with this quote:
I enjoy the spring more than the autumn now. One does, I think, as one gets older.
Virginia Woolf
I thought that this post was started weeks ago when the crocus’ came up and daffodils were blooming

My neighbor had a spectacular display

Mr. Robin was listening for worms in the front yard

and the tree in front was budding leaves all over

Then we got a small snow… it’s NE Ohio after all…

But now, better late than never, the leaves are really coming in strong and the tree that was usually last to get its leaves is again first

My husband/ Mr. Bill/ green thumb/ gardener extraordinaire has been busy edging the huge driveway and filling in grass around the tree from the deer, raccoon, and skunk birdseed feeding frenzy over the last couple of years. We’ve learned our lesson there!
It’s no secret that both my thumbs are not green. They kill plants with a vengeance!

And last, but not least, Roxie our almost 13 year old mini labradoodle is on the mend from her bout with doggie vertigo.

As you can see, she’s holding Bill’s cellphone in this picture- she’s really his dog now…
That’s all for my little slice of grateful heart update
I wish you love, happiness, peace in a crazy world, blessings, and a grateful heart.
XO Lisa ❤️
Lisa, I can definitely feel the welcoming warmth from spring’s return. It looks like you and Bill are experiencing the same blessings.
