I guard myself

my soul, my energy.

I try my best to stay away from

negativity and

project positivity.

But I am human.

When I see hate,

people hurting others,

or those who say one thing

but do another,

I cannot remain silent.

I must voice my opinion.

For staying silent is tantamount to

agreeing that those actions

are right and honorable.

I do not publicly shame,

however, the message will

be recognized by those to whom

it was intended.

Otherwise,

I live in the present moment,

for that is all we have.

This is my truth.
