Musings Gratitude Day 47

Today I am grateful

for twin fawns in the distance

new blooms

my pompous chubby purple finch

who reminds me so much

of Larry

and visits many times each day.

For the lone tuft of grass in the yard

that stands tall amongst the clover

and the other grass

that doesn’t seem to grow at all.

It reminds me

to keep going,

keep growing,

keep choosing peace,

hope,

love,

and keep holding onto my truth

even if everything else around me

stays the same.
