Today I am grateful for:

The little orange finch that came to the feeder yesterday

I was freaking out a bit because orange is Larry’s favorite color so I was taking to the little one. The bird seemed unafraid.

I said “Look at me baby” and this happened:

He stared at me long enough for me to snap this photo.

I am grateful for all the wildlife that is around my house:

Finally, I am grateful that the sun continues to rise and I continue to live. Just four months ago I didn’t think I could go on another day.

Since then, I have experienced growth at lightning speed, peace beyond human understanding, and am on a healing path with intention and gratitude.
