I was around when “Star Wars” was released in 1977.

For 1977 the special effects were spectacular!
I saw it 14 times in the theater…
I have watched it more than several times since with the same reaction that I had as a teen.
What about the prequels and sequels, you may ask?
Meh
The only one I watched straight through was Episode IX on the way to London on the plane. It made me sad.
To me, nothing beats an original.
We are all originals.
One-of-a-kind.
To be cherished.

Like you, I have seen the original “Star Wars” several times. I also found the first sequel “The Empire Strikes Back” to be nearly as good.

I too saw the original and loved it, l think l saw the other ‘original’ two that followed 77, so 80 and 83 as to the others l have fallen asleep through boredom, so have no idea how they play out 🙂
