The grandlittles were up
at 7:30am
then the hurricane started
but not before bed snuggles
with cartoons
and girls making pink pancakes
(don’t worry, grandma cooked them)
and the littlest saying “Grrrrrrrrrr”
to pick “The Lion King”
to watch on Disney Plus.
The thought crossed my mind
that I should call my Love
to tell him how much fun
we were having…
as sadness threatened
to overtake,
I knew in my soul that
he was smiling too…
There has been singing, dancing,
general merrymaking,
and loads of smiles!
Littlest little still calls me pa pa
which is so cute….
I’ll take it!
