I found a book
Not just any book,
but a book about embracing
one’s dark side
figuring out why we secretly
derive joy in
standing in piles of shit
while pretending they don’t exist.
I am ready-
highlighter in hand-
more than ready
to do this work
to take back my power
to embrace my scary shit
to find out why I secretly like it
to bring the ego
and conscious minds together
instead of being
a victim of myself.
I’ll listen to a wise man who said:
Until you make the unconscious, conscious, it will rule your life and you will call it fate.”
– Carl Jung
So raise a glass to my new journey
I’ll update soon…
XO Lisa

I have always loved Carl Jung. His philosophy made the most sense to me. When I opened the book and the author started off with a quote from Jung, I was in hook, line, and sinker. Now, I’m glad I listened to my first instinct. I am anticipating a life-changing experience out of this!
