Two Awards, Oh My Heart

Thank You Both

Earlier this week I was nominated for an award for valor in battle against fear by Ben at Brothers’ Campfire. His stories just suck you in and make you want to keep reading. Thank you for recognizing that grieving, in its purest form is a fight against fear.

I am very honored because this is my first award.

Today, I was honored to be nominated for a Blogger Recognition Award by Herb at Prudentia Sit.

Herb has become a great supporter and follower of my blog posts. Check out his About Me page for the most hilarious 100 Things About list I have ever read. He also seems to know a lot about coffee, even though I never drink the stuff (forgive me in advance). Thank you so much Herb.

BLOGGER RECOGNITION AWARD

A BRIEF HISTORY

I started writing as a way to deal with my grief after my Love and husband died on 26 June 2019. I was posting my writings on Facebook but wanted to find a more permanent platform. Several people suggested starting a blog and after doing some research I was off and running.

TWO PIECES OF ADVICE

I haven’t been blogging long enough to give advice… but since it’s a rule and for once I am following a rule, I will have to say just be real and keep writing whether you think it’s worth reading or not.

I WOULD LIKE TO NOMINATE

Sam from Don’t Make it Weird I admire his grandbaby pics and that he is teaching E.J. their own special language. Sam is a true gentleman.

and

Laura Bailey, my fellow Ambivert, and writer over at All the Shoes I Wear. I look forward to Laura’s posts and someday will get caught up on all of them.

Thank you both for making my day brighter.

The Rules (should you wish to participate) are Below:

1. Thank the blogger(s) who nominated you and provide a link to their blog.

2. Write a post to show your award.

3. Give a brief story of how your blog started.

4. Give two pieces of advice to new bloggers.

5. Select up to fifteen bloggers you want to give this award to.

6. Comment on each blog to let them know that you’ve nominated them, and provide a link to the post you’ve created.
