Blessings friendship grieving new life thankful

The Day After Yesterday

the day after yesterday

I woke up.

for friends who

took me to dinner

and made me

laugh until I snorted…

For texts

Facebook wishes

(yes, I checked)

calls from kids

hearing my grand littles’

sweet voices on the phone

gracious comments

on blog posts

only one meltdown

on another first

milestone passed.

Now two more

to come, then a

brief break from

official firsts.

Why does each day

seem like the

first day?

every day is

the day after yesterday

a new day

to be

  1. Praying for you! We all need to take life one day at a time.
