Proud Moment

Just a proud mama moment to brag on my daughter Effie Bustamante who has a huge heart for others.

Her official title is: “Prison & Reentry Services Program Manager at Mercy Corps Northwest” but she does much more than that.

Because she gives people hope.

Hope for their future.

Hope for a new life and a new start-

a do-over.

The program she manages is currently being featured on a local Portland, OR news station KGW8.

My daughter Eff is featured in video #2.

Eff has always been drawn to those who are hurting, sad, and who face seemingly insurmountable problems.

She has taken that innate characteristic and made it her life’s mission.

Eff, I am so proud of you.

My heart is overflowing with joy.
