since you’ve
been gone

Tears still come
when I
think of you
memories too
that
make me laugh

I know you know
but I’ve been reading
about people
who’ve experienced
what the afterlife is like:
Talking to G-d
endless Love
no pain
Awareness
Acceptance
Joy

Thinking of you
Pain-free and joyful
is why
I can’t wish you back
I love you too much to wish you pain
Just know that
our love
will last forever
regardless of what path
my life takes
without you
