Miss Roxie crossed the rainbow bridge this morning

She had a huge seizure

For more than 14 years she

was a constant companion

loved unconditionally

forgave immediately

provided comfort

and

was a source of great joy.

When Larry was ill she stuck to him like glue. After he passed she waited by the front door for him to come home for three months.

After Rusty died she waited for him as well.

When Bill came on the scene she immediately fell in love with him.

She started sneezing to communicate and was a willing participant in his conspiracy theories…

She never met a wild animal that was too big to chase – even got skunked several times.

Later, as her eyesight started failing, refused to eat her usual food, and started staring into corners we carried her down the steps to go outside, made homemade food, and guided her around the house.

Our constant companion who loved unconditionally, forgave immediately, provided comfort, and was a source of great joy is pain free and reunited with Rusty and Larry.

We’ll miss you Roxie…
