Badassery 8/22 & 23

Well hello little badass calendar!

Thanks for the reminder

to be grateful for me.

However, I still do not know what I am becoming…

Do I have to become anything other than myself?

Should I become a lion?

Can’t

a snake?

Can’t

an octopus?

Definitely can’t.

I am pretty happy where I am presently…

certainly not perfect-

have become accustomed to being alone,

love being a grandmother,

enjoy my job,

can do whatever I want,

come and go as I please,

can truthfully say that I am happy…

Perhaps I will just continue trying to be kind with the occasional swear word or three and leave it at that.
