Musings Gratitude Day 48

Today I am grateful for

My dog Roxie

she loves to take rides

She’s starting to show

all of her 10 years…

I’m sure that she loves the neighbor more than me, just because he’s a guy.

She still lays by the door at times

waiting

for Larry and Rusty (her brother)

to come home.

I am grateful for her loyalty.

She waits for me

by the bedroom door

every night

and if I fall asleep on the couch

she sleeps beside me

until I awaken.

I don’t feel so alone.

For that I am grateful.

She loves unconditionally.

I am grateful for that as well.

Dogs are amazing!
