Christmas family fun Rona

Rona Musings Christmas in May

My Christmas shopping has officially started! 🎄

The first gift arrived via FedEx…

Of course, I had to unbox it

and play with it

Just to see if it arrived unscathed

and worked as described.

If it was half as fun as my dear friend’s grandma showed in her videos, I knew it would be a hit!

I was always that child…

The one who took a flashlight to bed on Christmas Eve so I could sneak downstairs at 3am to see what Santa had laid out under the tree. He never wrapped his presents at our house. I really think he and Mrs. Claus played with them when they delivered them. (Especially the hot wheels racetrack we girls received one year). But that’s just my adult theory.

Truth be told, I really made an impulse purchase for myself, but it is so much fun that I just couldn’t keep it!

I have to pass it along so the grandlittles can see what playing a real video game is all about! I think their daddy and mommy will enjoy it as well! The competition will be wondrous to behold!

So I’ll play with it for a short while, until I can see them again, then put a bow on it and deliver it so I can witness all the fun!

I even housepartied my son to show him his family gift and me playing with it!

… I was never good at keeping exciting secrets!

XO Lisa

  2. Great game plan! We need to think outside this pandemic box and keep living within our own safe boundaries. I need to share this with Mrs. Buckeye to help see more of God’s hope we can pass on.

  3. Very cool! I would be disappointed if you had not made sure it was in complete working order. Plus, you can leave your name on the high score table…
