Faith

In things unseen

and a G-d who rules

the universe

has been part of

my life

since childhood.

When sorrow,

sadness,

grief,

or

trials come

I dig deep

and remember

that ultimately

G-d is in Control.

I was taught that

before we were born

G-d knew our lives

beginning to end.

Because I believe

that to be true,

who am I to question

G-d’s perfect plan?

Selfishness?

Perhaps

Afraid of change?

Maybe

It’s time to trust

that the author

and conductor

of the universe

is in control

of my past,

present,

and future.

It is well…
