It’s no secret that I love birds…
I could watch them all day
My work-from-home desk is setup right in front of the big window in the front room.
This is my view:
The view is a bit bigger than that, though.
Near the window is a hummingbird feeder and a new addition last night – a green window feeder made from recycled plastic.
I’m super excited about the new feeder that Mr. Bill “encouraged” when we visited “Nature Lover’s Nest” in Middlefield, OH.
It’s a most delightful store with just about anything a bird enthusiast would need and so much more.
I finally snapped pictures of the elusive Gray Catbird.
The Catbirds showed up when we put out the Oriole feeder – eats quickly and doesn’t stay around long. But they are beautiful. Their long tail is very expressive, and when I play the songs and calls from the Audubon app they really put on a show. I suspect this is a female though, because she doesn’t have the characteristic chestnut under her tail.
