Poo Strange Occurrences Weird

Strange Occurrences II

“Nothing is ever as simple as it seems. At the edge of perception, weird things dance and howl.”

― M.H. Boroson, The Girl with Ghost Eyes
Before and After

Another strange occurrence at my house!

Last week shortly after I finished writing Happy Birthday in Heaven – Gratitude 166 I found it necessary to go to the ladies’ room.

I was met with the scene in the right picture (above).

Now I must say that glycerin suppositories are not my thing.

They were, however, Larry’s.

They have been on that windowsill now for more than two years (since the last time he used them).

Before you think that my house is never cleaned, I have dusted that windowsill but just not thrown them away. Don’t ask me why because I won’t have an answer.

But, back to the story.

I finished writing the post, and with tears in my eyes went to do whatever one does in the ladies’ room. I was secretly hoping it would be the solid kind of whatever one does in the ladies’ room so I could make use of the new bidet that my ‘too old to be called a boyfriend’ Bill installed for me the weekend prior, (at my insistence, but that’s another story).

When I walked into the bathroom I saw the suppositories on the floor and thought, “How did those get down here?”

Then it hit me and I said, “Well hello Larry, it would make perfect sense that I just get done writing a beautiful post about how much you are still loved and missed, and all I get is shit.”

That’s what I really said…

What I meant to say was, “Well hello Larry, it would make perfect sense that I just get done writing a beautiful post about how much you are still loved and missed, go to the bathroom (while still crying) hoping to take a crap, and you try to help me along by reminding me that there are glycerin suppositories on the windowsill in case I should need them.”

Perhaps the suppositories on the floor weren’t meant to be about my poo habits at all. Maybe he was making a comment about the new bidet!

Either way, there is never a dull moment in my house…

XO Lisa
