My daylily bed & Miss Roxie

My daylily bed is cleaned out of ground cover and waiting for more topsoil for filling in.

Then comes the mulch, which will be new this year.

Every decoration means something to me:

The frog to reminds me to

Fully

Rely

On

G-d;

The pig with wings to remind me that I should not be pessimistic, because just when the saying “When pigs fly!” comes into my head things I thought were impossible seem to happen;

the huge dragonfly and all the little dragonflies remind me of everyone seeing dragonflies and thinking of Larry and loved ones (except me) – until last fall!

The big hook in the back will soon be filled with two Finch feeders and a couple of solar lights. Perhaps the orange finch will return this year!

My side porch perch is complete as well!

I love sitting outside in the dark with the dragonfly lights and Brutus Buckeye (who looks like a pumpkin at night) standing watch. Listening to the wind chimes tinkling and moon watching.

It’s going to be a great spring and summer – “When pigs fly!”

XO Lisa ❤️

    Beautiful! All of your tasks fill future days with love and purpose. I can see Brutus Buckeye cheering the flying pigs.
