Well hello little badass calendar…

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Thanks for the reminder that sometimes I am not as observant as I should be, too preoccupied with my overthinking mind, or perhaps I just have my head stuck up my a$$ much of the time.

However, what drives me crazy is when I know where I have put something and it isn’t in that spot when I return to retrieve it.

I know who the practical jokers are – and they are not of this world any longer.

I really do enjoy the chase, the looking, the sheer madness. Sometimes I can hear them laughing at their attempts to drive me completely insane. (Both of them know that won’t happen, but I suppose it depends on who one talks to…).

I am just thankful that they are still with me hanging around nearby. It gives me peace, and an occasional scavenger hunt or 10.

Now the next time I play Chess, Pente, Backgammon, Rummikub, or Monopoly with my friend I need hints on how to kick his butt, please and thank you.

I can hold my own for the most part, well maybe, but I know you guys can help me out so I can deliver a good old fashioned butt kicking… Y’all know how competitive I am.

Just joking, I think.
