Well hello little badass calendar

I really believe that like begets like.

Therefore, it stands to reason that if one has a positive attitude, one will attract positive people.

If one is happy, one will attract people who are happy and spread unicorn glitter and sparkly rainbow poop.

Who am I kidding using the impersonal pronoun “one” today? “You” sounds too preachy.

Let’s just face facts; I am trying to convince myself…

Allow me a do-over?

When I am happy, I see the world through different filters

….. all the while, a small part of me, albeit smaller by the day, is waiting for the other shoe to drop.

I should take my own advice and think of myself as an impersonal pronoun, pretend that life doesn’t matter, and just give in to the unicorn glitter and sparkly rainbow poop.

Oh well, not today.
