Grateful for Limits

I am learning to set limits
boundaries, if you will.
I am protecting my energy and myself.
I wasn’t in need of boundaries
while married.
Mutual respect was in place.
Unfortunately, respect seems
hard to come by in the world today.
Lesson learned.
I may just crawl back into my cave
for awhile.
It’s cozy
and comfortable.
We’ll see…
