Badass Moving Forward

Badassery 7/13

Boy oh boy. This one really got me thinking. Does forgiveness mean waiting for the other shoe to drop, or should it be unconditional?

How do I forgive? Do I forgive with an open heart, but if I do it just to say that it’s done to somehow make myself feel better?

Sledgehammer upside the head.

Note to self:

Don’t give forgiveness lip service.

Forgive unconditionally, or not at all.

XO Lisa

  1. Your note to self is spot on. Forgiveness is a vital part of life. We can’t forget what happened, always, but we can behave and treat the other party as though it didn’t. It’s not always easy to do, but bitterness will destroy you as a person and give power to the person who did the wrong. Letting go and giving it to God will only help you in the long run.
