Hedge of Protection

“As for G-d, H-s way is perfect: The L-rd’s word is flawless; H- shields all who take refuge in H-m. As for G-d, H-s way is perfect: the word of the L-rd is tried: H- is a buckler to all those that trust in H-m.” Psalm 18:30 NIV

G-d has ways

of getting H-s message across

even using glitches in technology

or circumstances I don’t understand

I have learned not to question why

some people just disappear for

a time – then reappear- only to

disappear again

I just roll with it

because

“Have Y-u not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side?” Job 1:10 NKJV

Therefore,

the right things will happen

the right people

in the right circumstances

will come along

at the right time

according to G-d’s plan

and that’s the way

it should be.

So today,

I picture myself

sitting on the bench

behind the hedge

protected from myself and my tendency to give people second, third, and even fourth chances

and I give thanks for

G-d’s Hedge of Protection

the same one that my

parents and grandparents

prayed for me – and I pray for my

children and grandchildren.

Today’s prayer:

Thank you G-d for Y-ur wondrous works and for guiding my paths (whether I ask specifically or not).
