Well hello little badass calendar
Of course I just write a post saying I’m better off alone and you come along and say one of the most basic common human needs is connection. Fuck off.
You’re probably right, but human connection is not all equal.
For instance, I can have a perfectly cool conversation with someone one day and never hear from them again.
Is that human connection? Not really.
I can talk to someone for months on a platonic level.
Is that human connection? Maybe, maybe not.
I have friends who know my deep dark secrets and love me anyway.
That is human connection.
I have family who love me because I’m family. I can’t guarantee that they would love me if we met on the street, but that’s OK because blood is thicker than water.
That too is human connection.
I am eternally grateful for the human connection and absolute, unconditional, soul-level love that I had with Larry.
My soul longs for that type of rare human connection.
I was very fortunate to experience it once in this lifetime.
So much so that anything less is unacceptable.
