Musings Gratitude Day 62

Today I am grateful for beauty after the rain.

In more ways than one.

Storms,

whether from the clouds

or in life

direct me to

take a break,

rest, relax,

reevaluate,

and choose a different path.

My paths have always been the ones less traveled-

during sunny days,

sometimes shadows,

and dancing in the rain.

Never dull,

always introspective,

and forging ahead to find new and unseen places.

I am up for the challenge.

Yes, I am thankful for calm after the storms, a relaxing weekend, and beautiful flowers to start my day.
