Badass Moving Forward

Well hello little badass calendar

I know you have to be PC little calendar writer, but I do not!

In my world, “handing the job over to the universe” translates into “Giving it to G-d.”

Giving it to G-d is my way of thwarting worry and knowing that if something is meant to be for me, it will certainly happen – work itself out.

Here are my favorite go-to verses on the subject:

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.”

Psalm 46: 1-3

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”

Proverbs 3: 5-6

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Jeremiah 29:11

“Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.”

Psalm 59:22

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Joshua 1:9

“The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.”

Proverbs 16:9

“For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I am the one who helps you.””

Isaiah 41:13

“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”

Psalm 27:1

“You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.”

Jeremiah 29:13

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;

    and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;

when you walk through fire you shall not be burned,

    and the flame shall not consume you.

For I am the Lord your God,

    the Holy One of Israel, your Savior…

Isaiah 43: 2-3

Pertinent words from the original Badass to all of us who care to listen.

I wonder who has ever called G-d a badass? I am sure H- has a sense of humor!
