Sleep eludes me
most nights
I lie awake thinking
always giving thanks
that I am/was blessed
sometimes crying
sometimes not
reminiscing about
good times
trying not to dwell
in darkness
but always fighting
to get back up again
and face the day
praying for
abundant life.

Thankfully, sleep didn’t elude me last night… sometimes stating the problem helps slay the monster- at least temporarily.

I completely agree..I’ve also learned that bottling up emotions inside never help in the long run..and we are always here for u! I’m glad you were able to sleep last night 🙂
