Today was Mother’s Day!

Happy day to honor all you Mothers and remember Moms who are no longer present.

I’ve been thinking of my Mom all day, and so has Bill…

Both are in Heaven along with his Birth Mother – I hope they’ve all met up!

I cleaned my house this morning in honor of my mom. We had a good conversation! She would be happy about the dust-free wood floors.

I also worried about my son, daughter-in-love, and grand littles who are all down for the count with whatever Miss B brought home from school last week – just like Mom would. We’ll celebrate “Every day is Mother’s Day” when they are all well.

Later we re-potted the beautiful plant that made it home from Florida last month in remembrance of Miss Annette, Bill’s Mom.

She was such a loving person. I didn’t have the pleasure of knowing her long, but she welcomed me into the family with open arms.

When she heard that my Mom had passed she hugged me long and hard, whispered in my ear that I could call her “Mom” and I did so with much love and respect

I think Bill misses Florida a bit today… he hung the moss from the plant in our bird tree

The only tree in Ohio that has Spanish moss in it…

I wonder if the birds will be confused…

One thing I’m sure of, that we will always carry our Mothers’ love with us

They are always in our hearts and only a thought away ❤️

XO Lisa

  6. It sounds like you made the best of the day! And… I bet it takes no time at all for some smart bird to steal a bit of that moss for a nest ❤
