Look- no parachute!

Today is my jumping off day – and not a cliff!

Yes, that was sarcasm, I am not cliff walking today. However, many times in my life I have felt like jumping off a cliff but at the last minute called upon G-d for help. In those hard times when I was falling, I felt held. I felt safe. I was saved from my impulsive behavior. Caught up in His perfect love.

But today I am closing yet another chapter by choice, whilst looking forward to a starting a new BOOK!

The future looks exciting but always tempered by longing for my Love to see how far I’ve come since he’s been gone. But I believe that he sees and is cheering me on.

Here’s a little something I wrote in 2003 along the same lines:

G-d Will Catch Us When We Fall

When we need comfort
from stress and strife
When we are overwhelmed
with details of life
G-d is near
all we need do is call
For He will catch us
when we fall.

When we are at the edge
with nowhere to turn
And giving our all
with none in return.
G-d is near
all we need do is call
For He will catch us
when we fall.

So give it to G-d and
He’ll carry the load
He will walk with us
down the dusty road
For we are not alone
all we need do is call
And G-d will catch us
when we fall.
